The Salem 7, from Fantastic 4 #186!

I FINALLY got to draw The Salem 7! An amazing group created by the incredible George Perez for an ultra quick 3 page appearance in FF #186 (cover dated Sept. 1977) The cover immediately grabbed my attention as a kid, so mission accomplished on that front! How lucky must a writer be to have George working with him or her when they know he can create an ENTIRE team, group or world of memorable characters, even if they were only ever intended to be throw aways, making just the briefest of appearances inside a book, like the Salem 7 did.
