Never did knew the top two until I scrolled down then saw their names and did some quick research at comicvine.com about their comic history.

The bottom two I already know as the Rhino and Hawkeye. Never did knew that Black Widow's original outfit looked like that until now.

Great group of old characters. I'd like to see the original Avengers and maybe Zemo's Masters of Evil like this.

Fantastic oil-slick inks. Have you read "The Damned?" It's an indie comics series by Brian Hurt and Cullen Bunn. The inks and grey tones here reminded me of it.

Doesn't anyone else recognize the Black Widow in her original costume? Quite cool , one of my fave retro character suits. Nice work, and that's some memory you got.

re: 2-image adjust, brightness and contrast, get the pencil line darkened up

should read

2-image adjust, brightness and contrast, get the pencil line darkened up
nice

1-tight pencils, leaving shadows and blacks to be filled later
2-image adjust, brightness and contrast, get the pencil line darkened up niceduplicate
3-magic wand at 32% the line art and "select all"
4-create a new layer and "fill" the selection black,
5-create another new layer underneath the newly filled layer and fill it white
6-make the original penciled drawing layer invisible and merge the filled black art with the white filled page
7-go in and clean up anything that needs to be cleaned and "fill" in blacks and shadows
8-i also tend to select the open space around the drawing, again with the magic wand, "invert " the selection, and stroke the containment line around the art to give a nice even, beefy line weight around the art
8-rinse and repeat as needed
