I'm super excited to have a piece of artwork in the upcoming Star Trek 50 Artists/50 Years art exhibit and coffee table art book coming out this summer. Here's the official announcement-

Images and artists bios can be found here-

In conjunction with the exhibit i will finally be able to offer an OFFICIALLY licensed 40" x 27" movie style poster of my piece (pixelated until it is revealed by CBS on the Trek website, after which i'll be able to display it un-pixelated)) available via my online store at www.dustyabell.com/ where I will also be sharing more info about the artwork going forward.

More updates soon, all the best, Dusty!

The Art of Dusty Abell is a Facebook page I created for people interested in my art that is separate from my personal Facebook page, which i've purposely kept for family, friends and close work associates. This page is for ANYONE that would like to follow what I do and leave feedback or comments. I hope you enjoy what I draw, let me know what you think!

There's a fantastic Medieval Fantasy Adventure Graphic Novel called MABIGON, being put together by a couple of super talented friends who work full time in the animation industry, Vinton Heuck & Byron Penaranda, this is a passion project they have both been working on for years and are almost finished putting the final touches on, in preparation for its wide release. They are in the final days of a Kickstarter to raise the funds necessary to complete the coloring on the book. Check out everything about the book here-
www.kickstarter.com/projects/9…
it looks AMAZING so far, and if you can contribute anything to help them finish the book, I know they would be extremely grateful.......of course there are great incentives built into the pledges as well, so it's a win win all around!
