It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

A couple of excellent new comics!

Do yourselves all a favor and get on in to a comic book shop or jump online and order these two series by a couple of extremely talented fellow Deviants and generally all around good guys! The first is the Marvel Adventures all ages 4 issue limited series "Hulk/Power Pack" by Marvel Comics, out right now, drawn by one of the most gifted artists i've ever known, Mr. David Williams, aka BroHawk, whose Deviant gallery is located here brohawk.deviantart.com
The book will simply blow you away, it is one of the best books Marvel has out on the stands right now. And the best part is the story is all ages friendly so you can enjoy it for its light hearted innocent storyline and powerful artwork and then pass it on to your 8 year old niece or nephew and give them a chance to see what good wholeosme comics are all about!!!!

The second recommendation I'd like to spread the good word about is Mr. Mahmud Asrar's new Image series "Dynamo 5" the first issue of which just hit the stands Wed. It is an exciting, fun story with excellent artwork by Mahmud, his gallery of art is here anjum.deviantart.com who I think is going to break out huge with this book and quickly catch the attention of both Marvel and DC. I think Dynamo 5 will give both companies a run for their money, but it will need the support of the fans to make that happen, so next time you find yourself wanting to take a chance on a new book, maybe something you hadn't thought of trying before, give these two books a shot, I wouldn't steer ya wrong!
