Jeff Parker [link] and Mike (Ringo) Wieringo [link] have teamed up for one of the funnest books i've read in a while from old Marvel, Spider-Man/Fantastic Four! These are the characters the way you've always remembered them, no angst or dreary nihilistic anti-heroes, its timeless classic Spidy and the FF doing what they do, being heroes, doing good and saving the world. Great writing and the usual Ringo goodness, theres nothing this fella can't draw, and he does one of the best Spideys out there. Its four issues and the first one's out now, give it a shot, i can't recommend it enough!!!!!

Yes, Spidey/FF was really cool! I also recommend 'The Loners' from Marvel this week. Fun stuff.

ok, i just saw the write up on the loners, pearson cover and a spin off from one of the most talked about series marvel has produced in years, it might not be brian vaughn writing it, who i've become familiar with from dr. strange the oath and pride of baghdad, but i might just pick that up on your recommendation, hope i'm not seriously out of the loop not having read runaways yet.

Hey, read that Wonder Woman you recommended. Thanks, it was pretty cool, and the Dodson's art kicked ass.

lenil just flat out blows me away, i love his art, the story is a real challenge to follow with 30 days in between issues, there is so much jumping back and forth in time going on. still i find myself prefering the simpler, old school type tales that dan sloot, jeff parker and robert kirkman are telling these days. i'm just not a huge fan of where the britsh writers and brian bendis are taking the characters i loved growing up. i don't even recognize tony stark anymore.

i also really enjoyed omega flight as well!

Omega Flight is sold out here, i didn't get the chance to pick one and I fought the last two days to retrieve the two covers of Avengers the Initiative!! Phew! I got'em now!!
Impossible to retrieve the Fallen Son: Wolverine Yu's cover!!! I'm damned!!
Every week, since a month plus, there's Marvel titles that go sold out in a few hours or days back here!! It's beccoming difficult to get everything as a collector!! ;)

Tony Stark is a corporate bitch, seeing everything as his own personal toys and playground!! I love to hate him, in fact!!
Seeing the New Avengers as an outlaw SPBs strike force is a very fresh idea!! The roster is a little weird but this is a very fun read!!
A lot of things is happening in the Marvel Universe and I go along for the ride!!
That team needs one more wisecrackin and rebel member, Hawkeye!!!
Maybe Thor will join too, it'd be fun to see it!!!
Leinil Yu is now a major idol for me, like Olivier Coipel is!!!
His art is astonishing!
What are you up to these days, Dusty?? :)
